Department manager

Service Centre Riga is providing operation service to DNB customers in Norway from Riga, Latvia. We all speak Norwegian and working closely with colleagues in Norway. Team in Service Center has grown to 300 employees during the past six years. We are working based on Lean methodology, with a focus on automatization and robotisation of the manual processes.

In order to ensure further growth and provide even better service to the bank`s clients in Accounts area in Riga looking for

DEPARTMENT MANAGER in Account Riga BM

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure deliveries of short and long term business goals, in cooperation with colleagues from other departments and peers in Norway
  • Motivate, engage and develop employees, set targets, provide regular feedback, coach and support
  • Organize work of department - resource and tasks planning, cross-training, reporting and budget control in line with strategy, operating model and policies, including compliance and operational risk management
  • Build work environment and culture that corresponds to DNB values and ethical standards, encourage customer focus and continuous improvement
  • Drive and implement changes, focus on continuous improvement in all working processes

Qualification:

  • Good Norwegian and English language skills
  • Experience working with Lean or continuous improvement of processes
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Good Business understanding and commercial awareness
  • Strong teamwork skills, ability to work in matrix organization and build relationship
  • Hands-on concerning daily operations and employees, strong process understanding
  • Ability to take necessary decisions and ensure that the business plans are executed on time and effectively
  • Demanding high performance culture, contributing with a high level of energy and positive attitude   
  • Higher education

Managerial experience will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
